DAY 1: Airport – Negombo

Upon arrival in Sri Lanka, an Airport Representative will be of assistance after which you will be directed to your very own chauffeur, who will provide transportation Negombo.

You will arrive at the Negombo Airport.

DAY 2: Negombo-Minneriya

After having breakfast the group will leave for Minneriya, then participate in an evening safari at Minneriya (Normally, there is an extensive gathering of elephants in the Minneriya National Park which is the largest concentration of wild elephants in the world. Along with the elephants, the park houses over 24 species of mammals ranging from Wild Buffalos to Porcupines. Birds are also found in this national park, over 170 species, ranging from Kentish Plovers to Rufus Woodpeckers). Following this visit there will be an exquisite dinner and an overnight stay at Habarana.

DAY 3: Kandy

After having breakfast, there will be a procession to Kandy, on the way the group will have the prospect of visiting Dambulla cave temple (one of the principal well-kept cave-temple complex in Sri Lanka which is home to the Buddhist mural paintings, which covers a vast area of 2,100 square miles and over 150 statues), the Batik factory (employers of individualistic yet authentic creative designs), spice garden, wood carving factory, Hindu temple in Matale, the temple of the tooth (The Dalada Maligawa which is also called the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, it is one of the most reverential sites of worship for Buddhists worldwide. This temple is also home to The Tooth Relic of Buddha). After which there will be an appetizing dinner and an overnight stay at Kandy.

DAY 4: Knuckles

DAY 5: Kandy – Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast the group will leave for Nuwara Eliya, and subsequently visit the well-renowned Ramboda waterfall, tea plantation and tea factory (where we will experience a relaxing tea-plucking session). Following this there will be an enjoyable dinner and overnight stay at Nuwara Eliya.

DAY 6: Nuwara Eliya – Horton Plains – Nuwara Eliya

After having an early breakfast at the hotel, there will be an opportunity to leave for Horton Plains, (varieties of plant species have been discovered and identified at Horton Plains as there are over 100 flower classes discovered which is exceptional in the high altitude. Along with the plant species there are also fishes, amphibian species and a variety birds and mammals), afterward the group will proceed to the Nuwara Eliya Lake. Following this there will be an enticing dinner and an overnight stay at Udawalawe.

DAY 7: Neliya – Udawalawe

The group will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Udawalawe.

DAY 8: Udawalawe – Thissa

After an early morning start and a packed breakfast, there will be an oppourtunity to have a morning safari in Udawalawe (The attractions include Water Buffalo, Sambur Deer, Mongooses and a variety of other animals. Sometimes spotting rare leopards is an occurrence. Furthermore, there are many indigenous birds such as the Ceylon Junglefowl, Ceylon Green Pigeon, Ceylon Grey Hornbill, etc). Afterwards, the group will leave for Thissa. Subsequently, there will be a delicious dinner and an overnight stay in Thissa.

DAY 9: Thissa – Mirissa

With a packed breakfast, the group will leave on an early morning safari in Yala National Park (a wildlife sanctuary with a wide variety of animals and exotic birds to observe, such as jackals, spotted deer and peacocks). Afterward there will be an oppourtunity to relax on Mirissa Beach, Mirissa. Following this there will be a scrumptious dinner and an overnight stay at Mirissa.

DAY 10: Mirissa – Negombo

The group will leave at 6 am for whale watching in Mirissa (a very close point to where blue whales have populated as a result of the amazing environmental conditions. Sometimes the sighting of five types of whales is possible wherein one can see whales such as the blue whale, sperm whale, killer whale, etc. Also there are varieties of dolphins such as the bottle nose dolphin and risso’s dolphin). Following this the group will leave for Negombo, after which there will be a dinner and an overnight stay at Negombo

DAY 11: Negombo Airport.

We will then depart at the Negombo Airport.
